Lesson
You are about to become
an author. The Winnie-the-Pooh
series of stories was written by Alexander Alan Milne about his son’s
favorite stuffed animals. You
are now going to write a story based on your favorite stuffed animals.
A story is like a puzzle. You
get a bunch of little pieces.
You put them all together and you end up with a big, beautiful picture.
The pieces of our story puzzle are:
1.
characters:
Who is in the story?
2.
plot:
What is the story about?
3.
problem:
What happens in the story?
4.
solution:
How does the problem get solved?
5.
setting:
Where does the story take place?
